CSTV renews PAC-10 broadband deal for six years

CSTV Networks, Inc. and the Pac-10 Conference announced today an extension to their six-year partnership as CSTV will continue operating the official athletic Web site of the Pac-10 Conference, www.Pac-10.org.

CSTV Online has operated the Pac-10 Conference Web site since October, 2000 and will continue to work with the Pac-10 as the official Web site host and provider, bringing fans the most in-depth coverage of Pac-10 Conference sports across multiple platforms, including audio and video streaming of select championship events. CSTV’s online division operates the site as part of its Web site network that includes more than 250 official athletic sites.

The official Pac-10 Conference Web site features an enhanced design with rotating stories and a wide photo layout on the front page. In addition, the site takes advantage of a number of CSTV.com online features including its exclusive GameTrackerTM technology, allowing fans to follow live simulated game action, details and full play-by-play of their favorite teams. Pac-10.org will also provide access to the ten member institution’s official athletic websites via direct links. Through the site, CSTV also connects fans to the Pac-10 online store, which provides officially licensed merchandise and apparel 24 hours a day.

“We are pleased with the extension of our online relationship with CSTV Networks and look forward to working with the premier digital sports media company in the coming years,” notes Bri Niemi, Assistant Commissioner of the Pac-10 Conference. “The launch of our website redesign is an exciting time for us as we gear up for another fantastic academic year, proving once again, why we are truly the Conference of Champions.”

The new Pac-10 Conference website also features Pac-10 All-Access. Pac-10 All-Access is a popular online service that features the most in-depth coverage of Pac-10 sports through exclusive audio and video content, including live championship events streamed via broadband, special features, highlights, press conferences, coaches’ shows and much more. Fans will be able to view Pac-10 All-Access free of charge this upcoming year.
