Red Sox fans to rally against Comcast Saturday

The protest is on, but
its status has been downgraded from a rally to more of a gathering.

Area baseball fans
frustrated by the inability to watch Boston Red Sox baseball games on Comcast
cable, will meet Saturday afternoon from noon to 3 p.m. on

Ford Avenue, the dead-end street across
from the Waterbury Comcast headquarters on

Huntingdon Avenue.

What
started out as a protest rally will now be an opportunity for fans to sign a
petition concerning Comcast and NESN, and to plan future actions to convince
Comcast that there are enough subscribers who are also Red Sox fans to warrant adding
the New England Sports Network.
