SportsNet, the television home for more Cubs and White Sox games than any other
network, is ready to start up the annual “Crosstown Classic” rivalry in a big
way with live coverage of the first game of the series on Friday, May 18 as a
“White Sox” telecast and the finale on Sunday, May 20 as a “Cubs” telecast. In
addition, Comcast SportsNet will air extended pre and post-game shows for both
games, an extra post-game show following Saturday’s game, along with some
special programming that will definitely please fans of both teams. Both the
Friday and Sunday game telecasts from Wrigley Field will have a 1:20 PM first
pitch and both games will be presented in HD.

FRIDAY, MAY 18: Comcast SportsNet’s coverage of the “Crosstown Classic” begins
on Friday, May 18 at 9:30 AM with an encore edition of Mark Buehrle’s no-hitter
against the Texas Rangers from April 18. Following the no-hitter replay,
viewers can look forward to Crosstown Classic Pre-Game Live presented by Feldco
at 12 NOON hosted by Pat Boyle and analysts Dan Plesac and Bill Melton LIVE
from Wrigley Field. In addition, field reports will be provided by SportsNite’s
Chuck Garfien covering the White Sox and Josh Mora with the latest on the Cubs.
First pitch begins at 1:20 PM in HD featuring the White Sox announcing tandem
of Ken “Hawk” Harrelson and Darrin Jackson. Immediately following the game, CSN
will carry Crosstown Classic Post Game Live presented by U.S. Cellular
featuring post-game press conferences with Ozzie Guillen and Lou Piniella,
locker room interviews with both White Sox and Cubs players and game analysis
from Plesac and Melton.

SATURDAY, MAY 19: Even though Comcast SportsNet will not carry the White Sox at
Cubs game on Saturday, May 19, the network will still carry Crosstown Classic
Post Game Live at approximately 6:00 PM with host Gail Fischer, post-game
analysis from Melton and Plesac, along with post-game press conferences and
locker room interviews from players on both teams.

SUNDAY, MAY 20: For the finale on Sunday, May 20, Comcast SportsNet’s coverage
day begins at 11:00 AM with the debut airing of the documentary “Hello Again
Everybody”: The Harry Caray Story. This documentary, filmed in HD, portrays the
life of the

Chicago
baseball broadcasting legend featuring rare footage and interviews with family,
friends, peers and sports celebrities including Steve Stone, Bob Costas, Mike
Ditka, Ryne Sandberg and Ron Santo among others. Following the Harry Caray
documentary, Crosstown Classic Pre-Game Live presented by Verizon Wireless will
air at 12 NOON featuring Boyle, Plesac, Melton, Garfien and Mora LIVE from
Wrigley Field. First pitch begins at 1:20 PM in HD featuring the Cubs
announcing tandem of Len Kasper and Bob Brenly. Crosstown Classic Post Game
Live will once again immediately follow the game featuring locker room
interviews and the managers’ post-game press conferences.
