St. John’s Athletics Selects StubHub

StubHub, has
been selected by

St. John’s
University Athletics to be the program’s exclusive secondary ticketing partner.
The multi-year agreement will further enhance the visibility and adoption of
StubHub’s industry leading ticket marketplace with exposure at

St.
John’s athletic events held on-campus and at

Madison

Square

Garden. The addition of
the Red Storm marks the fifteenth collegiate athletic program currently
partnered with StubHub, the most of any secondary ticketing company and a
roster that already includes fellow BIG EAST Conference members

Georgetown, Rutgers and

West Virginia. StubHub currently boasts a
total of 31 sponsorship partners across professional leagues and the NCAA
ranks.

StubHub
will be formally recognized as the “Preferred Ticket Marketplace of St.
John’s Athletics,” where fans can easily buy or sell their Red Storm or
other event tickets in the greater New York area in a convenient and secure
marketplace dedicated to tickets. Red Storm fans with extra tickets can utilize
the service and recoup an otherwise lost investment, while fans seeking better
seats will have access to the widest selection of seating options.

St. John’s

University is excited to be partnering
with StubHub, the most trusted and popular brand in the secondary ticket
market,” said Chris Monasch, St. John’s Director of Athletics. “We
obviously feel a strong commitment to our fan base, and formally aligning with
an organization that is similarly committed to fans’ needs makes this
partnership a natural one.”

The new
relationship with

St. John’s Athletics enables
StubHub to further cement its popularity among the many passionate sports and
music fans in the

New York
metropolitan area. Area fans regularly use StubHub to buy and sell tickets to
the numerous entertainment options in the Big Apple. StubHub’s unmatched
customer service, unique delivery system, and FanProtect(TM) Guarantee will be
key value points for Red Storm fans using the marketplace for the first time
this season.

St. John’s was a very
attractive program for us for a variety of reasons,” said Danielle Maged,
Director of Sports Partnerships & Business Development for StubHub.
“The storied tradition, large and devout fan base for the men’s basketball
program and the opportunity for branding inside

Madison

Square

Garden at high-profile BIG
EAST Conference games were all strong draws for StubHub.”
