Game 2 earns small ratings boost in Canada

It’s a
small victory, but the way things are going for the Ottawa Senators, any sort
of win helps.

The CBC
drew 2.378 million viewers for the second game of the

Stanley Cup final (Senators-Anaheim Ducks),
up 9 per cent from the audience for the second game of the final last year
(2.189 million, Edmonton Oilers-Carolina Hurricanes).

Both games
were played on a Wednesday, which is usually a competitive night on television.
The New York Yankees-Toronto Blue Jays game on Rogers Sportsnet produced 295,000,
down from a strong audience of 408,000 on Tuesday.
