up 9 per cent from the audience for the second game of the final last year
(2.189 million, Edmonton Oilers-Carolina Hurricanes).

Both games
were played on a Wednesday, which is usually a competitive night on television.
The New York Yankees-Toronto Blue Jays game on Rogers Sportsnet produced 295,000,
down from a strong audience of 408,000 on Tuesday.
