Alpha Video & Audio Has Gone to the Dogs

Alpha Video & Audio and its Digital Display Group digital-signage division placed their bets with the installation of audiovisual and digital signage at Mystique, Iowa’s largest greyhound park and casino, located in Dubuque.

The company handled a complete audiovisual installation throughout the casino, as well as a full enterprise integration of DDG’s own digital signage solution, CastNET.

The audio works both inside and outside of the casino with different zones controlled by a Crestron control system. And Mystique’s two theaters were equipped with two different screen systems (one front-projection and one rear-projection), as well as full lighting and staging with a mixing board for professional sound.

DDG installed a complete dynamic signage solution utilizing LCDs in every area of the casino, along with an outdoor marquee billboard and a nine-screen video wall in the entrance of the casino. CastNET, which operates and manages mission-critical media, was incorporated to drive all of the displays around the greyhound racetrack, which will give Mystique the ability to update messaging in real-time through a Web browser.
