AT&T U-Verse Adds On-the-Go Capabilities for Time Warner Cable SportsNet

AT&T U-verse has added fully enabled, on-the-go capabilities for Time Warner Cable SportsNet and Time Warner Cable Deportes, joining Bright House Networks, Cox Communications, DIRECTV, Hawaiian Telcom, Time Warner Cable and Verizon FiOS as television providers that offer the service.

All network programming, including live Los Angeles Lakers, LA Galaxy and Los Angeles Sparks games, can be watched both in-the-home and on-the-go, making it a true TV Everywhere experience.

AT&T U-verse subscribers in the networks’ home territory can now watch Time Warner Cable SportsNet and Time Warner Cable Deportes not just on their televisions but also on the networks’ websites and on iOS and Android tablet and mobile devices via the mobile applications titled “TWC SportsNet” and “TWC Deportes.” The apps are available in the iTunes store and on Google Play and feature 24/7 live network programming and full programming schedules.

Customers of AT&T U-verse, Bright House Networks, Cox Communications, DIRECTV, Hawaiian Telcom, Time Warner Cable and Verizon FiOS who subscribe to a package that carries Time Warner Cable SportsNet and Time Warner Cable Deportes are able to watch the networks on computers or mobile devices after they log in with their password to verify their subscription. Once it’s verified that a customer’s subscription includes Time Warner Cable SportsNet and Time Warner Cable Deportes, they are connected to the Lakers, Galaxy and Sparks no matter where they are in the networks’ home territory.

Access to on-the-go viewing is determined by television provider and is limited by geographic location in accordance with the National Basketball Association’s (NBA) and Major League Soccer’s (MLS) broadcast territories and other rules.
