TVG to Provide On-Site Coverage of TVG Super Saturday at Belmont Park

TVG, America’s largest online wagering company and horseracing television network, will serve as title sponsor of Belmont Park’s TVG Super Saturday, the biggest day on the New York track’s fall schedule. In addition to sponsoring the exciting day of racing, TVG will be on-site to present live, HD coverage on Saturday.

TVG“TVG Super Saturday is one of NYRA’s biggest events with several races having major Breeders’ Cup implications, including four ‘Win and You’re In’ races, and TVG is proud to partner with NYRA as the day’s title sponsor,” said Bhavesh Patel, TVG’s Senior Vice President of Television Operations and Marketing. “In addition to its Breeders’ Cup impact, TVG Super Saturday will offer more than $3 million in purses, so there’s a lot on the line for the equine and human athletes who will be competing.”

Hosting TVG Super Saturday coverage will be Todd Schrupp, joined by Simon Bray and former Major League All-Star Paul Lo Duca.

TVG Super Saturday will feature six graded stakes (including five Grade I races) with combined purses totaling $3.4 million. Highlighting the proceedings will be the Grade I, $1 million Jockey Club Gold Cup Invitational, a Breeders’ Cup Classic “Win and You’re In” event. The race is expected to feature four Grade I winners, including Tonalist (Belmont Stakes), V.E. Day (Travers Stakes), Wicked Strong (Wood Memorial) and Moreno (Whitney), as well as a pair of Grade II victors, Zivo (Suburban) and Last Gunfighter (Hawthorne Gold Cup). Other likely starters include Big Cazanova, Prayer for Relief and Stephanoatsee.

Post time for the Jockey Club Gold Cup is 5:50 p.m. ET. The race will also air on Prime Ticket, MSG+ and Sport South (check local listings).

Rounding out the stakes program will be the Grade I, $600,000 Joe Hirsch Turf Classic Invitational; the Grade I, $600,000 Flower Bowl Invitational; the Grade I, $400,000 Beldame Invitational; the Grade I, $400,000 Vosburgh Invitational and the Grade II, $400,000 Kelso Handicap.
