Rogers K-Rock Centre Ready to Roll with New Daktronics Video Displays
Rogers K-Rock Centre in Kingston, Ontario, Canada, will update their facility with a brand new centerhung video display system designed and manufactured by Daktronics.
“Daktronics delivered on everything we required throughout our process – competitive pricing, manufacturing a state of the art system, reliable project management, system knowledge and training, and overall professionalism,“ said General Manager of Rogers K-Rock Centre Lynn Carlotto.
The main centerhung will include four video displays each measuring approximately over 6 feet high by 10 feet wide and featuring 6 millimeter line spacing. These displays will make a great addition to in-game action by being able to feature one large image to highlight live video and can be divided into separate windows to show a variety of vivid graphics, colorful animations, up-to-the-minute statistics and scoring information, and sponsor advertisements.
These video displays will incorporate excellent image clarity and contrast with wide angle visibility to keep all fans caught up with the game action.
“Daktronics is excited to provide our custom designed 6 millimeter displays for the Rogers K-Rock Centre, “said Ryan Stratton, Daktronics Sales Representative. “This new centerhung will be able to meet all of Rogers K-Rock Centre’s game day needs, while also maintaining all of their sponsorship obligations. Rogers K-Rock Centre will be able to provide a one-of-kind game-day experience for all fans.”
In addition to the equipment installation, Rogers K-Rock Centre will also receive a bank of hours for the creation of digital content to be produced and delivered by Daktronics Creative Services. This content will consist of any mixture of sponsorship messages, crowd prompts, headshots, game opens and venue announcements at the request of the facility.
Daktronics LED video and messaging display technology offers a long lifetime with minimal maintenance and low power consumption, providing value and excitement for years to come.
