ONE World Sports Adds Distribution

In the latest of a series of carriage deals for the rapidly growing network, ONE World Sports has signed multiyear, multiplatform agreements with the cable TV and multiplatform distributors Service Electric, enTouch and Paul Bunyan Communications.
“Soccer and other global sports are increasingly popular in every region of the United States, especially among our core audience of hard to reach 18-34 year olds,’” says Randy Brown, VP, distribution, ONE World Sports. “Our recent agreement with the NCTC, which opened the door to these latest launches, reinforces our growing industry support.”

The three transactions were enabled by ONE World Sports’ recent agreement with the National Cable Television Cooperative (NCTC), of which the three companies are members; the agreement paved the way for the network to become available to all of the cable cooperative’s nearly 1,000 member cable distributors throughout the United States.
